How and when did you start doing CrossFit?
I would like to consider myself an OG at CrossFit Barrington. I started in 2012 in Leigh’s secret 9:30 class. You would think I would have that 1,000 tank.

Tell us a little bit about yourself. Family? Job? Hobbies?
I love my family, friends, CrossFit and wine (not necessarily in that order). My husband and I have 3 girls (10, 8 and 6). Besides CrosFit I love skiing in the winter and enjoy running, tennis and golf in the summer.

Favorite WOD and Favorite Movement?
Murph – just kidding – although it has the best name. I like Jackie and I actually liked all of the 2018 open wods.
Favorite movement: Back squat
Least favorite WOD and least favorite movement?
DEADLIFT -least favorite movement making Diane my least favorite WOD. But thanks to the coaches and Kaia I can now do handstand push ups.
Your Favorite junk food?
Anything with sugar in it. I can’t help it, I’m addicted.

If you were stranded on a deserted island, what three items would you want with you?
Water, my pillow, mascara, sunscreen, a boat, a suitcase filled with clothes, my toothbrush and toothpaste and my jump rope – no way am I going to a desert island with just 3 things.
Describe yourself in one word?
My girls said, “amazing” and “best mom ever;” my husband said “messy.” I would say “loyal.”
If you could create a WOD, what would it look like?
Longer WOD with a combination of back squat, running, thrusters and chest to bar pullups. (maybe some double unders too)
