Homemade Lara Bars:

Recipe from Lisa Novak Ploder
1 c cashews
1 c pitted dates
1/4 c peanut butter
1T water

Mix it all up in food processor. Smash it flat onto a pan. Chill. Cut into 12 bars.

Fried or grilled bananas:

Put a little ghee in the bottom of a pan.
Get it hot, put a banana in cut in half lengthways with a sprinkle cinnamon and nutmeg on top.
When the bottom starts to brown turn the bananas.
You can eat them as is or add this with a little unsweetened coconut to a tub of Fage greek yogurt for a sweet breakfast treat.
Even the kids like unsweetened greek yogurt this way.

WLC Compliant Crumble:

Derrick Keith
{For any fruit that you want to bake}
In a food processor combine 3 or 4 dates, tsp cinnamon, 1/4 tsp allspice, pinch of cloves and a pinch of sea salt. 2 tbsp coconut and a hand full of toasted nuts.
We like it with pecans and a few macadamia nut for richness.
Process in the food processor until it reaches the consistency you want.
If it’s not crumbly enough add a tbsp of almond or coconut flour.
This can go over apples and berries (especially during the winter when the berries are not as sweet), any mix of berries, etc.
Just at a couple tsp of ghee or pasture butter on the berries, then sprinkle the crumble on top.

This is a good base that you can do a lot with, add coco nibs, dark chocolate chips (when WLC is over), oats for the mid level…create your own combination.
