About Me:

My diatribe; What is health? I’d be shocked if the average American goes one day without hearing something that refers to health on TV or the radio. These are usually focused on medicine or some form of fad weight loss scheme. You rarely hear what health really is. Dictionary Definitions;

“The general condition of the body and mind or a healthy state of well-being free from disease.”

We live in a country where the top two diseases for children are obesity and diabetes. I am a believer that with our busy schedules and focus on work, humans have an extremely difficult time balancing health and realizing that health involves the body and mind. Neglect in one aspect is bound to destroy the other aspect of one’s life thus leading to an unhealthy life. For myself, I find when I am active all the pieces of my life fall into place. The moment I neglect my workouts, food or sleep, my physical as well as mental well-being decrease and with that so does the health of my family.
