How and when did you start doing CrossFit?
Started June 6, 2014 after a few years of causal lifting, I was looking for something more structured and competitive. A trainer at the gym I was going to showed me some videos of the 2013 games and Rich Froning, knew I wanted to try it right away. My first day at CFB was Fran, did it RX thinking I would crush it, got absolutely destroyed. Even though I couldn’t walk all weekend I couldn’t wait to come back on Monday.
Tell us a little bit about yourself. Family? Job? Hobbies?
Born, raised and live in Barrington. I work as a technology consultant for a global consulting firm. In summer I’m either on my boat, on the golf course or outside with friends. Still need to find a winter hobby.
Favorite WOD and Favorite Movement?
Favorite WOD is Grace. Favorite movement is cleans or deadlifts.
Least favorite WOD and least favorite movement?
Least favorite WOD was 14.5, least favorite movement is burpee box jump overs or weighted step overs. Team series was brutal this year.
Your Favorite junk food?
Try to eat clean usually, but beer and a good burger
If you were stranded on a deserted island, what three items would you want with you?
Cooler with endless beer, grill(cooler also has endless meat) and sunglasses
Describe yourself in one word?
If you could create a WOD, what would it look like?
Partner WOD about 15-20 mins. Cleans/deadlifts, double-unders and pull-ups. No burpees.
