How and when did you start doing CrossFit?
I started my fitness journey by accident after having the only bid on a basket being raffled off at a charity event for 5 free sessions at a gym/ training facility in Schaumburg. My wife Jill who was already doing boot camps had found something closer to home for us to try which started our CrossFit journey in November of 2014.
Tell us a little bit about yourself. Family? Job? Hobbies?
I kind of consider myself a graduate from the school of hard knocks. I have lived on my own working full time and paying my way long before a person should have to. What doesn’t kill us makes us stronger right? I currently have a small screen printing & embroidery company named Arrow Silk Screening Inc.
I am happily married to my wife Jill ( 5:00 a.m.er ) who I met back in 2001. We have 4 legged children which suits us well.
When I am not working or caught up in getting projects done I enjoy getting in the boat for a relaxing cruise.
Favorite WOD and Favorite Movement?
Favorite named WOD I would have to say Cindy. Favorite movement would maybe be Push Jerks.
Least favorite WOD and Least Favorite Movement?
Least Favorite WOD would be Fran which is why I don’t like thrusters for the movement.
Your Favorite junk food?
I would say pizza.
If you were stranded on a deserted island, what three items would you want with you?
A pair of sunglasses, checkered shorts and a metal detector to find buried treasure.
Describe yourself in one word?
If you could create a WOD, what would it look like?
5 Rounds for Time: Run 200m – 20 Pull Ups, Run 200m – 20 Push Ups, Run 200m – 20 Sit-ups, Run 200m – 20 Squats.
