How and when did you start doing CrossFit?
Jason Keppler brought me to CFB about 4 years ago now. I remember it being a partner WOD, the suspense of the clock count down, the music jamming, chalk floating in the air, sweaty bodies everywhere. It was complete chaos and I loved it!

Tell us a little bit about yourself. Family? Job? Hobbies?
I grew up in Wisconsin, moved to Chicago after college where I started a trading business and met my wife Kimberly. Once we were ready to start a family we moved to Barrington and now have 3 girls (Charlotte-11, Chloe-9, Piper-4). We are lucky to have a great support group and tight community here at CFB and within Barrington and spend most of our time with these friends. Additionally I enjoy golfing, skiing, traveling and creating experiences with my wife and kids.

Favorite WOD and Favorite Movement?
I really do not have a favorite. I enjoy being challenged everyday.
Least favorite WOD and least favorite movement?
Any WOD that starts before 8:30 am.

Your Favorite junk food?
I really don’t care for junk food, never have.

If you were stranded on a deserted island, what three items would you want with you?
Ice, beer, Plenty of sunscreen. Being a ginger I would die from the sun before starvation.

Describe yourself in one word?
Persistent, others may call me Obstinate.

If you could create a WOD, what would it look like?
If I wanted to compete with the Fire Breathers, I would have to make the WOD at least 45 minutes long with as many of the advantages given to a washed up tall runner. Running, Rowing, Box Jumps, Wall Balls, maybe some Cleans. The longer a WOD lasts the better my chances because I don’t give up.
