How and when did you start doing CrossFit?
I started CrossFit in June 2012.
So I have battled weight my whole life, Back in 2010 I topped the scales at 350#. I lost my dad to a heart attack just before in 2009 so I decided I needed to make some serious life changes. I tried personal trainers, p90x, globo gym, but nothing stuck… Until my buddy and I decided to just give crossfit a free trial week, and I loved the community.

Tell us a little bit about yourself. Family? Job? Hobbies?
Have been married for 14 years to Kelly and have 2 chocolate labs (Marley and Parker). I love to golf, travel, eat, and have the occasional drink… ok, well I need to cut back on some of that again!
Favorite WOD and Favorite Movement?
Grace. Clean and Jerk.
Least favorite WOD and Least Favorite Movement?
Fran. Thrusters.
Your Favorite junk food?
I could go on for days here… Probably pizza if I had to pick one. I don’t like to call it junk food though… if I think junk food, I think of Kale or Broccoli, that seems more like junk to me than pizza.

If you were stranded on a deserted island, what three items would you want with you?
Titos, iPhone, Sand wedge (need to work on my bunker game).
Describe yourself in one word?
Overcommited or Passionate. I like to commit to just about anything someone asks me to do. Travel, CF, golf, marathon, work, Harley…
If you could create a WOD, what would it look like?
Partner WOD for sure. Without naming names (Chris) my partner would make sure we set the pace slow and steady…
